Can parents be involved?
Parent support is vital. Each parent will be provided with a program book that outlines the content of each session with comprehensive parent notes so new social skills and social thinking can continue to be reinforced at home. This follow up is very beneficial to your child’s learning. Unfortunately, parents are not permitted to sit in on sessions in order to protect the confidentiality of all participants, but we will give adequate feedback on your child’s progress.
You will also receive feedback during your second parent session in Term 3.
Enrolment must be for the full semester
What’s the Buzz? is designed to be a 16 week course that runs over 2 terms. The extended period of time together assists in building connections and consolidating their new learning.
Unfortunately, refunds are not possible for missed sessions. It is helpful if you can let us know in advance if your child is going to miss a session.
All students must have completed one semester of school prior to enrolling in the Early Learner’s Program.
